Sia Bourke

Education

Sia Bourke holds a Master of Architecture from Yale School of Architecture, where her work focused on material research, spatial experimentation, and the relationship between memory and form. Prior to Yale, she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Fine Arts from St Edward’s University.

Her interdisciplinary background bridges architecture, sculpture, and visual communication, grounding her artistic practice in both conceptual rigor and technical precision. Across her academic journey, she has explored materiality, displacement, and embodied trace, developing a sculptural language that merges architectural thinking with tactile surface investigation.

Exhibitions

Through exhibitions, Sia Bourke presents sculptural relief wall artworks that combine architectural precision with tactile material exploration. Each piece is handcrafted using layered plaster, clay and fabric, creating subtle depth, shadow, and surface tension that transform a wall into a quiet spatial experience. Rooted in themes of memory, displacement, and resilience, the works offer more than visual impact, they invite reflection and emotional connection.

What distinguishes the studio is its interdisciplinary foundation in architecture and fine art, ensuring every artwork is conceptually strong, materially refined, and thoughtfully presented. Collectors and collaborators can trust in a practice that values craftsmanship, integrity, and meaningful engagement, offering distinctive relief works that bring texture, calm, and depth into contemporary spaces.
